You can apply to be a panel
member by contacting a leader on the contact page. All applications are considered and do require a police
security clearance and family services clearance.
Volunteers are
always needed at 3 Edmonton Area Committees of the Youth Justice
Sanctions/Extrajudicial Program. We are
actively seeking panel members. Panel members work as a team to sanction
young offenders. Once a young offender has been referred to an
Extrajudicial Sanctions Program, they are contacted and come in for an
interview and the panel members negotiate suitable sanctions to help the
young offender understand his/her offence and adhere to the contract and
consequences.
