As a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization, EYJCS offers youth and young adults an alternative to the formal court process. By utilizing a Restorative Justice Circle approach, EYJCS works alongside youth and young adults in making amends with harmed persons and the community at large.
The Edmonton Youth Justice Society has been operating as a non profit organisation since December of 1995.
We are volunteer driven organization, managed by a volunteer Board of Directors and assisted in delivering our services by a team of 3 staff.
Our services are directly provided by a team of between 35 and 40 trained volunteers who are dedicated to making a difference in our community through helping youth and young adults understand the impacts of a bad decision while helping them accept responsibility for their actions.
Contributing to a community that fosters connection, reconciliation, and healing.
